“I thoroughly enjoyed Ann's teaching methods; her classes are stress-free, fun and enjoyable. She teaches spoken usable German from day 1, the learning process is organic and natural. Ann is extremely supportive in your learning adventure, if you are a beginner, or want to improve your German, I highly recommend The Deutsch Teacher with Ann Krannitz.”

- Frances, Italy
"I've really enjoyed my one-on-one lessons with Ann. She is very patient and explains things very well, even the weird edge cases of grammar when I come with weird grammar questions. A good safe place to learn German."
- Ghi, Germany
“Thank you for your class! German isn’t easy, but your teaching style has helped me along greatly. Classes are fun and challenging. I appreciate the real world German application and making me more confident in daily interactions! "
- Brianna, Germany
“Ann is an excellent instructor. She is patient, encouraging, and motivating. She really gets to know you, so that she can tailor the course to your pace and needs. Instead of dreading my lessons each week, I look forward to learning more and more! ”
- Dana, Germany
"I was very wary to trust information that I saw on Instagram, but Ann comes across as very knowledgeable and not trying to do a hard sell, which made me feel very comfortable approaching her. I've studied a bit of German on my own and with a teacher in Germany for two weeks. Her class has given me confidence I didn't have before and as a former German teacher in the US, her understanding and guidance on the pitfalls that US learners have, is invaluable.”
- Deena, US
"I am so happy I made the leap and took Ann‘s course! Adding the structure and guidance of an instructor-led course, the consistency of weekly classes, helpful practice ideas, insights from Ann, and the ability to ask questions when clarification is needed has been such a benefit to my language learning experience. Plus Ann is great and truly cares about your progress!”
- Stephanie, US
“This course includes just enough repetition alongside new vocabulary and grammar to help everything really stick. The topics are easy to practice from anywhere with the online community. Optional “homework” gives you recommendations for extra listening, reading, and writing practice—so you can learn the way we naturally learn: not by making every word or sentence perfect, but by understanding the message (even if it’s a little messy).”
- Mary Peyton, US
